About Our Studio

Allegra Dance Greenwich, located in Greenwich, Connecticut, is a school of ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern dance, contemporary, acro dance and hip hop dance. Allegra provides the ideal dance education for all our students by adhering to the philosophy that dance is an art, not a competitive sport. Students with professional aspirations are able to make a seamless transition into the college and professional dance worlds. Students who dance for recreational purposes are able to do so in a positive, supportive, and non-competitive environment. Allegra believes in inspiring a passion for dance while nurturing creativity and confidence. Allegra believes in giving back to the community through dance and does so throughout the year with performances and fundraisers in the community.

Allegra Dance Greenwich students are given the tools to develop strong dance technique, artistic ability, self-confidence, and a passion for the art of dance. Students' individual talents, abilities and goals are encouraged and nurtured.

Raised in Cos Cob, CT, Carrie Page began her studies as a young child at the Allegra Dance Studio. Upon graduating from Greenwich High School, Carrie was one of thirty-five to be accepted into the prestigious dance department at New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts.  After receiving her BFA from NYU, she moved to LA where she furthered her education in injury prevention and became a personal trainer. Carrie has had the privilege of studying with Gelsey Kirkland, David Howard, Finis Jhung, Gus Solomons Jr., Shapiro and Smith, Tere O’Connor, Cassandra Phifer and with the Limón summer program and school.  Having grown up with Allegra as her second home, it has been her dream to one day keep Allegra’s legacy alive. Carrie looks forward to keeping that legacy going by educating with high standards of dance, nurturing each students goal and inspiring a love of dance.
